Prasad has over 4 years’ experience as Structural Engineer in design and construction of various building projects. He has been providing structural engineering services for projects including design, peer review and value engineering. He effectively coordinates with architects in exploring the options to resolve the design issues. He is skilful enough in the analysis and design of elevated water tanks in earthquake zones. He has applied the guidelines for the design of liquid retaining structure according to revised IS Code 3370-2009(Limit state method) for a 25m dia. elevated circular tank.

 

Selected Projects


Residential tower at Lower Parel, Mumbai: A single residential tower development consisting of 7 podiums, amenity level, 23 typical levels, 1 service level and 1 fire check level with a semicircular ramp at the rear side to provide access to the podium.

 

Surana constructions: Detail Design A residential tower 121m above ground on large podiums. The tower is with 4 podium floors and 34 floors above and having a total built-up area approximately 55,000 sq.m. The tower has a unique arrangement of different units connected with two central cores.

 

Tower at Dhobi Ghat: A residential tower 238m above ground on a large podium with 3 basements, 6 podium floors and 58 floors above and having a total built up area approximately 112,000 sq.m.

 

DB crown:  The project is a three-tower development with breathtaking views of the Arabian sea, the Eastern harbour and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The tallest of the tower is with 72 stories while the other two towers are with 68 stories.  A 13-storey podium connects all the three towers together which also has 3 levels of basement.

Elevated Jogging track, Alta Monte: The Jogging track is an elevated structure at the podium, floating directly above the entrance ramp of Alta Monte project. The structure is formed with two parallel trusses of rectangular hollow sections with top chords restrained by U-frame action and bottom chords connected by deck bracings cladded with aluminium composite to achieve desired architectural appearance.

 

Raghuvir Platinum: The project looks appealing with its architectural and structural excellence. The Textile houses are designed and placed very thoughtfully so as to make optimum use of the space while fulfilling the needs of businesses parked here. Raised in a well-structured, secured compound with parking on ground, basement and terrace levels and vertical access through passenger and goods elevators.

 

Avadh Textile market: It’s a ground + nine-storey commercial building, with double basement as a Textile market. The ground floor is with an entrance atrium with escalators, shops and other amenities such as 3 goods lifts, 7 passenger lifts and 7 staircases are provided in the building.  The total built-up area of the project is approximately 5,72,000 sq.ft. and the building is 53.02m high above the ground.
