Ranjith has over 25 year experience of which 17 years have been in the Middle East as Structural Engineer in design and construction of various building projects. He had been with Atkins, one of the world's leading Engineering Consultants in their Dubai office since 2002 and have head the structural team of UAE Building Property Division. He then moved to BuroHappold as Associate Director for their Indian operations and has been contributing to the tall building construction in India. His experience varies across active management of the structural team, preparation of commercial proposals, resources management, business development and maintaining client relationship. Apart from management role, he is actively involved in technical roles from producing conceptual sketches to leading a large team of professionals delivering design of all aspects of complex and large scale projects. Ranjith possess a strong technical knowledge of structural engineering derived through the design of verity of buildings. He is specialised in tall buildings having worked on many high rise projects in Dubai and also in India over last 10 years. As lead structural designer, he has delivered more than 20 buildings over 40 story high including buildings of complex geometry.

Namaste Tower review: 62 story landmark building with a unique architectural design.


DB Crown, Prabhadevi: The project is a three-tower development with breathtaking views of the Arabian sea, the Eastern harbour and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The tallest of the tower is with 72 stories while the other two towers are with 68 stories.  A 13-storey podium connects all the three towers together which also has 3 levels of basement.


Lawns & Beyond: This residential development consists of 16 Winds laid out in 10 structural blocks. The buildings are 21 storeys high over a large double basement achieved using the conventional slab and beam construction and structural walls using aluminium formwork. The project includes a large column free clubhouse below the residential units using a three-dimensionsl concrete truss transfer structure.


Rajhans Business Hub Tower: A commercial development with office spaces and parking on the floor below. The structural system uses conventional concrete with post-tensioning for the slabs to fit the architectural layout of the building. Lateral stability is provided using ductile shear walls with supplementary stiffness provided by the peripheral frames and flat slab system.
